Math

Unit #1

I grew in a few ways during this the first part was mostly review but as we got into parent function's I learned some new content as the parent functions in graphing which I found to be really cool. The rest is more abstract stuff is more fun and with the pow’s it helped us learn some good logic and thinking skills as well as new math skills such as sigma and much more!

Unit #2

In this unit, I grew in becoming very fluent in probability and statistics. In this, we started with easy spinner problems that taught us the basics and then moved onto the rigs which were for me at least a bit easier, this made sense to me and really helped me understand probability and later on statistics. The next part really physically showing probability and whether it was observed or theoretical. An example of theoretical is you have a one in six chance of rolling a 4 on a die that doesn't mean you're going to get exactly one 4 every 6 tries but the idea is sound. An observed is that there is almost a 100% chance that the sun will rise tomorrow, although there is no probability but from what we observed it will happen again. And finally, with all these skills we used them to calculate the probability and statistics of insurance.
